The SAP EHS Developer will be a member of the SAP Centre of Excellence of the IT department of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products segment.

The SAP EHS Developer mission will be:

  • To contribute to the project transformations in the Domain on a Project Management point of view but also on a technical point of view. He(she) will be part of the success of all the transformation steps of the projects, initial demand collection, books of requirements, eventual Request for Proposal, blueprint, realisation, cutover plan, training, go-live, project closure, project committees, steering committees, subcontractors’ management … A dedicated PMO tool will be used to ensure a best-in-class project management activity.
  • To develop new or adjust existing programs and function modules in SAP ABAP according to the requirements specified in the functional design.
  • To perform unit test and check that new functionality is working as expected before it is handed over to the IT for functional test. If bugs are identified, the process starts from development again.
  • To provide technical documentation for the implemented functionality.
  • To manage the run and maintain activity. The SAP EHS Developer is part of the success of the incidents management and the progressive maintenance management in the domain. KPI’s will be followed and analysed to ensure the proper management of this area.

All these activities must be handled in full compliance with the IT General Compliance rules and the SOx rules that are applied in the ArcelorMittal group.

What you’ll need:

  • Masters in Information Technology or similar.
  • 10 years of experience in the domain required.
  • SAP customizing in SAP EHS module S/4 version.
  • ABAP, Webdynpro and Fiori skills required.
  • Other SAP modules are a plus.

Other applicant attributes considered as a plus:

  • SAP customizing and implementation skills in other modules like PM and MM.
  • SAP Solution Manager knowledges.
  • ITIL.
  • Steel making knowledges.

Languages :

  • French and English (fluent),
  • Luxembourgish and German as a competitive advantage
  • Any other language will be considered as a plus
