Officer Network Management

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

• React to commercial or operational events impacting the network. Solve daily allocation conflicts due to delays, re-routings or diversions
• Coordinate with internal interfaces (Commercial Planning, Sales and Marketing, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Global Logistics) for best route economics and fleet utilization
• Arrange re-routings and re-establishing the schedule (i.e.: in case of market driven, operational, geopolitical, weather related event…)
• Coordinate capacity adjustments due to market fluctuations / holidays / special customer requests within the Cargolux group, and/or our external parties
• Evaluate and calculate ad-hoc requests for additional rotations, capacity or commercial stops in alignment with Route management, Charter department, Area sales
• Perform initial seasonal schedule implementation, and respective day to day ad-hoc supervisory updates
• Providing and supporting analytical reports, as well as route market studies

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Master’s degree in Aviation Management, Economics, Commerce, Finance or a related field is preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar multi-disciplinarian position, or previous contact with commercial, ground, or flight operations within a carrier
• A solid foundation in the aviation supply chain, its concepts, players, and/or previous specific experience in the air cargo industry is an advantage
• Aviation management studies, or similar will be considered as an advantage
• Having good problem solving skills to deal effectively with complex multi-variable tasks
• Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process and people-related organizational dynamics
• Proven time management skills and ability to take decisions within tight deadlines
• Ability to plan and prioritize work aligned with corporate objectives
• Be highly detail-oriented. Possess strong analytical and observational skills
• Possess strong communication skills. Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of stakeholders, both internal and external
• Feeling comfortable working autonomously, as well as in a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English; other languages are considered an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows OS. AIMS will be considered as an advantage
• Have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and spoken English

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365
• Position based in Luxembourg
