Amazon currently seeks a creative, self starter and experienced Sr. Program Manager to join the EU Circular Economy team for a one year maternity cover, focusing on improving circularity in our business practices and operations. A successful Program Manager must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to influence internal/external partners at all levels of the organization. This role will particularly suit someone with strong analytical abilities, relationship building skills and project management capabilities. Key Responsibilities include
  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategy direction to business and operations with a focus on circular economy, waste diversion and waste technologies
  • Project manage the development and execution of circular economy programs·
  • Work with diverse and senior stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and implement circularity frameworks into the business·
  • Use analytical tools to evaluate the impact of the programs and evaluate available data·
  • Own recommendations for sustainability-related solutions, including business cases to get buy in from senior stakeholders on the projects
  • Build relationships with external suppliers and partners, and with internal stakeholders
