V.I.E. Structured Products Sales Trader- H/F/X

Responsibilities

Société Générale is one of the world leaders in the derivatives and structured markets of Rates/Exchange and Equities, and supports its clients with cross-asset product solutions. At SG Luxembourg, you will be joining the private banks trading room. The department handles all Societe Generale Private Banking market operations for all types of customers.

As a V.I.E. Sales Trader on Structured Products you are the preferred entry point for our asset managers. You are in touch with our counterparties (Investment Banks) and our asset management teams (Advisory and Portfolio managers) whose requests you analyze and process.

• Ensure the pricing and execution of client orders in the gray and secondary markets
• Facilitate the commercial offer of structured products to support customers. This includes market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities to provide recommendations to customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and objectives
• Contribute to the automation of daily tasks and to the improvement of daily flow

Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Commerce/Finance
• A previous experience in a dealing/trading room would be appreciated

Language skills:

• Fluent in English and in French (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Proficiency in programming languages (VBA, Python) and Bloomberg would be a plus
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Client centered approach

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
