TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main tasks of the Technician Paint Shop include:

  • Prepare the surface of aircraft sections, components and parts and apply primer and topcoat
  • Remove and replace decals inside and outside the aircraft
    • Install sealant, erosion tape and stickers on aircraft and aircraft components
  • Prepare and paint ground support equipment
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Accomplished apprenticeship in car body repairs, painting or equivalent
  • At least 5-7 years work experience in paint spraying
  • Experience in fiber glass and composite material is considered an advantage
  • Able to work in a team and show initiative in solving problems
  • Able to work at height
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are considered an advantage
  • Basic computer skills: MS Office

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Full-time position based in Luxembourg.
  • The position demands a regular presence in the shop and requires vacation and other absences to be planned to avoid conflicting with service needs.
  • Work shifts as per the shop schedule in accordance with the Collective Work Agreement (CWA).
  • Flexibility may occassionally be needed with the working hours.
