BI Business Analyst:
Your role

As a BI Business Analyst your challenges will include:
Ensuring the reception and processing of requests/problems from internal operational entities regarding support requests and the corrective/evolutionary maintenance of various business applications;
Providing functional support to end users by applying support and investigation techniques (reproducing problematic cases in a pre-production environment, using knowledge bases, database investigation);
Following up on the request portfolio under their responsibility;
Ensuring the follow-up and resolution of evolutionary and corrective maintenance requests for various business applications;
Performing acceptance tests using dedicated processes and deliverables during application release phases or for a specific fix-pack;
Identifying and implementing improvement actions aimed at enhancing service quality and efficiency;
Coordinating and communicating application releases;
Ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our business applications, ultimately enhancing service quality and efficiency.

Requirements
Bachelor ‘s degree;
At least 7 years of experience as business analyst;
Excellent knowledge of English and French Languages is mandatory;
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum Project Methodology; knowledge of PRINCE2 or at least KANBAN practices;
Experience in data modeling and data warehouse design;
Expertise in Business Objects XI R4.2 (Webi Design, Universe Design, CMC) familiarity with more recent versions is a plus;
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI;
Strong skills in SQL language;
Experience with SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, SSRS, SSAS); knowledge of Oracle is an additional asset;
Understanding of web application and web services principles;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Solife;
Knowledge of regulatory reporting related to financial sector companies in Luxembourg, particularly insurance (CAA, MIFID, EMIR, etc.);
Understanding of the Life Insurance business in Luxembourg and LPS;
Experience in data quality projects is considered a plus.
