Description of the internship content and duration of the experience:

  • Description: We are looking for an intern to join our team as a Data Analysis and Analytical Platform Deployment Intern, playing a key role in our Business Intelligence strategy. The successful candidate will actively participate in the ramp-up of our analytical platform deployment for Luxembourg plants, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational processes.
  • Requested start date: from 01/09/2024
  • Duration: 1-2 years for apprenticeship.

Profile:

  • Qualifications and education level: Bac+1
    • Experience:
      • Previous experience or coursework related to Power BI, data analysis & Data Manipulation Language (DML) is preferred.
      • Experience with Azure Databricks would be beneficial.
    • Key competencies and skills
      • Currently pursuing education in computer science, data science, or a related field.
      • In-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts and tools, particularly Power BI.
      • Proficiency in SQL query languages for data extraction and manipulation.
      • Ability to create impactful reports and dashboards for decision-making.
      • Initiative, creativity, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Specific job requirements
      • User Needs Analysis: Apply advanced methods for gathering user requirements to understand users data analysis needs.
      • Propose visualization solutions utilizing concepts of interactive dashboards, dynamic reports, and advanced data visualization.
      • Collection of Heterogeneous Data: Work on innovative solutions for the collection, cleaning, and integration of heterogeneous data from various sources. Apply BI concepts such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) to ensure data consistency and quality.
      • Reporting with Power BI: Contribute to the creation of dynamic and interactive reports using Power BI. Design intuitive dashboards that enable a thorough understanding of data while emphasizing accessibility and user-friendliness.
      • Deployment of Analytical Platform: Participate in planning, configuring, and optimizing the deployment of the analytical platform, with a focus on BI technologies.
