  • Working alongside the Conducting Officer for Portfolio Management, the Conducting Officer for Operations and the Conducting Officer for Risk, the focus of the role will be on supporting these three functions across a number of diverse areas
  • The role is based in Luxemburg with regular travel to the UK primarily
  • The successful candidate will also be integrated into the wider Group and able to contribute to relevant projects
Key Responsibilities This is a unique role, covering 3 core functions as follows: (1) Work closely with the Conducting Officer – Portfolio Management:
  • Participate in portfolio management due diligence across strategies including visits to London to meet various teams including fund managers
  • Review marketing materials ensuring consistency with the objectives and the investment process, including new fund launches
  • Monitor funds and segregated mandates to ensure they are operating within the terms and conditions of investment mandates, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and explain performance relative to benchmark across strategies, review portfolio characteristics, composition and evolution.
  • Support portfolio management documentation including process, policies and procedures
(2) Work closely with the Conducting Officer – Operations:
  • Assist in the coordination, compilation, and submission of regulatory reporting. Including:
    • Monthly, quarterly, and annual finance reports
    • Annual self-assessment questionnaires for the Man Co and funds
    • Annual separate reports for the Man Co and funds
    • Depositary due diligence questionnaires
  • Assist in annual statutory audits for the Man Co and Funds
  • Assist in initial and ongoing due diligence exercises on third party and internal delegates
  • Support for ongoing monitoring of delegates, including analysis and reporting on KPI’s and MI
  • Ad hoc reports for regulators, auditors, and other interested parties
  • Participation where appropriate in industry forums
(3) Work closely with the Conducting Officer – Risk:
  • Monitor funds to ensure that they are in line with the investment risk limits
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders to compile and submit regulatory risk reporting
  • Support in the preparation of the risk reporting for key stakeholders
  • Assist in updating processes and procedures
  • Participation where appropriate in industry forums
A key part of the role across functions will be to simplify and automate processes and to enhance reporting templates for key stakeholders There will also be an opportunity to develop ESG knowledge and add value to the cross-function oversight and due diligence process
Desired Skills / Experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an Asset Management company, Big 4 or ManCo
  • You have strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and VBA/Python
  • You have a keen interest in financial markets, proactive, curious and pragmatic
  • Strong team player with proven ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
  • You have a solution-oriented mind-set, capable of taking initiatives and adding value
  • You are able to multi-task, work under pressure, challenge and grow
  • You are able to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral; any other language will be considered as an asset
