Our company in Luxembourg has about 190 employees and produces more than 4 billions of preforms every year as well as 50.000 T of recycled PET.


In order to reinforce our Team, we are looking to hire a Customer Service Officer (m/f) :


Directly reporting to our Sales Administration Manager, your objectives as Customer Service Officer are:


  • Ensure an effective order fulfillment process while keeping customers, both internal and external, informed on the delivery schedule, utilising inventory and resolving obstacles
  • Maintain and develop customer-relationship with the objective to meet company targets at both service level, volume and inventory management


Your main responsibilities will be as follow:

Orderfulfillment & CRM:

  • Validate weekly delivery schedule with customers both internal and external, considering criteria such as on- time- production and on- time- delivery and confirm orders in accordance
  • Support sales organization with ad-hoc order fulfillment reporting
  • Propose and share preform specifications in response to customer inquiries & needs
  • Monitor customer account receivables to ensure timely shipment/ collection
  • Generate weekly customer reporting and participate to weekly, bi-weekly customer calls
  • Monitor on-time shipment performance
  • Visit strategic customers at least twice a year

Demand Planning:

  • Ensure regular customer receipt of demand forecast
  • Maintain centralized inbox up- to- date, dispatch information as required
  • Share market intelligence with demand planner and provide input to consolidated view on a monthly basis
  • Maintain plant re-work list up- to- date and align with customer’ priorities


Inventory management:

  • Register monthly consignment stock consumptions & analyse discrepancies
  • Identify alternative outlets for slow moving stocks with objective to accelerate sale
  • Monthly review of customer’ packaging program and ensure effective rotation & customer collaboration

Master data:

  • Maintain customer instructions and contacts updated in customer master and documents
  • Issue material creation request for standard preforms & obtain approval & record documentation


Education, work experience, skills and competencies required::

  • Minimum 5-years in a similar role in an industrial & manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of French, German, English both written and spoken, minimum B2 level
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Good knowledge of ERP (SAP) particularly SD- MM and WM modules
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Enjoys communicating to customers & creating strong relationships
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and finding solutions
  • Ability to perform in a fast- moving and dynamic environment
  • Team player and ’Can-Do’ mentality
  • Organized and strong time-management skills; ability to set priorities
