TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and monitor inbound cargo flows through the Luxembourg Hub
  • Coordinate and follow up on requests for special equipment or handling
  • Coordinate the cargo handling with other departments
  • Provide internal and external customer support
  • Maintain records of the import activities
  • Provide finance departments with service data

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or equivalent education
  • Ability to establish and maintain good customer relations
  • Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Developed time management skills and ability to take decisions within tight deadlines and without direct supervison
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work aligned with organizational goals
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German and French; Luxembourgish will be considered as an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
  • Willingness to work on shifts 24/7/365
  • Full-time position based in Luxembourg
  • Occasional travel required within the entire Cargolux network
  • Temporary position (9-12 months)
