Description of the tasks:


  • Administration of DG-Specific Infrastructures: Management of systems and services, including file and print services, RDS service, DG-specific systems, software, and hosted applications.
  • 2nd Level Support and Maintenance: Providing advanced support and maintaining systems.
  • Installation and Configuration: Setting up system components and server software, including patch management.
  • Operations and Monitoring: Overseeing infrastructure, systems, and servers.
  • Configuration Management: Executing configuration tasks and procedures.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Handling incidents, changes, requests, and problem resolution.
  • Preliminary Diagnosis: Identifying software and hardware issues in coordination with central IT departments.
  • Advisory Services: Providing guidance on capacity management, contingency planning, IT service continuity, task automation, and security.
  • Coordination:

o With hosting services.

o With database management teams.

  • Scripting and Configurations: Developing scripts and configurations for systems and infrastructure.
  • Backup and Restore Operations: Managing backups and restoration of systems and infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Contributing to the documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
  • Architectural Design and Review: Participating in design and review processes.
  • Knowledge Base Development: Creating technical content for use by upstream support teams.
  • Security Standards Implementation: Evaluating and implementing security standards.
  • Security Administration and Monitoring: Ensuring adherence to security rules under the supervision of the SSO and LISO.
  • Meeting Participation: Engaging in coordination and project meetings.
  • Technical Documentation: Writing technical documents and procedures.

2. Level of education.


As stated in the Article 2.6.3.1. of DIGIT-TM II Service requirements, a minimum educational qualification for lot 2 is: Level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a bachelor degree of 3 years.

  • Network Administration: Knowledge in network management.
  • Oracle Environment: Familiarity with Oracle systems.

5. Certifications & standards.


  • Certification in ITIL standards is highly recommended.
