My client is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join the Security Operations team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and security of the network infrastructure.

Role:

  • Act as a network security specialist within the Security Operations team.
  • Participate in all network security activities to safeguard our systems.
  • Control and optimize the configuration of firewall, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the network team responsible for managing our network infrastructure.
  • Generate accurate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding network security.
  • Conduct periodic or ad hoc meetings with clients and provide concise meeting minutes.
  • Track and ensure timely resolution of action items arising from these meetings.
  • Offer expert advice on network security matters during projects and to other teams, including architecture teams.
  • Provide assistance in resolving network-related security issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in network and network security principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewall, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy technologies.
  • Familiarity with SkyBox is considered advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AlgoSec is also advantageous.
