About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Planning Operating Model redesign Project Manager who will report professionally to the End-To-End Transformation Manager.


The Planning platform is strategic in Ferrero value chain and its redesign is a crucial initiative where the identification of proper trade-offs between pragmatism, catching technological opportunities and securing business continuity is essential. The role will be played in tight coordination with main Operations Planning stakeholders, Ferrero IT accounts and PM and consultancy company that will support the transformation.


Main Responsibilities:

As Planning Operating Model redesign Project Manager, you will lead a Group initiative that is embracing 360° planning platform redesign for topics such as the integration of long and short-term planning on one unique platform, the enhancement of capacity planning and allocation processes features. Guiding inventory management and scheduling optimization will be as well part of the scope and you will also be responsible for guiding the investigation of automated planning solutions. Finally, you will work in identifying potential other opportunities for Demand, Distribution or Inbound planning processes.


In terms of Project Planning, you will lead the project operating plan according to project scope, objectives and approach, defining activities, timing, responsibility for the different streams highlighting milestones and deliverables and discuss project plans and updates with E2E program leader.


In relation to Project Implementation, you will cascade the project plan for different streams; coordinate the project streams, guaranteeing the correct implementation of the project plan and of the different project phases while ensuring quality of deliverables. Moreover, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of best practices transfer among streams / teams and facilitate the required change management to move from project to process. Finally, you will monitor project costs evolution guaranteeing adherence with budget.


Last but not least, in Project Monitoring, you will monitor the state of work in terms of deliverables and timings, check project objectives feasibility and recommend proper actions to tackle project issues and provide periodical consolidated information to the project leader.


Who we are looking for:

You will bring your Master’s Degree in Engineering or any Operations/Supply Chain related field and 10 to 15 years of working experience in supply/production or distribution planning management.

On top of this, you will bring solid experience in Planning processes and tools implementation, project management and digital transformation initiatives within a global, corporate and matrix organizations.


Your strong sense of personal accountability for project success and ability to eliminate complexity while driving simplicity will be fundamental in this role.


You are fluent in English and have excellent communication and influencing skills to interact with individuals at various levels within the organization. This includes collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment and successful project execution.


You have a strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular) and knowledge in SAP APO / IBP.


Last but not least, you are self-motivated, proactive, results oriented, with strong problem-solving skills with an international mindset.
